2. Draft a comprehensive biography of the life and work of your figure.
3. Solidify an understanding of your figures stance on the Treaty of Versailles (be specific! If your figure strongly disagreed with only one part of the treaty, say so.)Be sure you know how your figure voted (if they could vote) on the treaty in both forms it was submitted in.

etc...

3. What were the implications of war time government at home in the U.S. during WWI?

4. What is a 'war economy' and how did it manifest itself in America?

Why did America go to war with the Allied Powers rather than maintain its neutrality or join the Central Powers?

Use your knowledge of the time period, Pageant and class notes and your vast intellectual abilities to answer this question.

Once your thesis is written... REREAD IT!!!!!! Does it answer WHY?
Plan out your body paragraphs! Do they begin with a provable topic statement? Do you use SPECIFIC information to prove that topic statement? If not, REVISE!
